Equestrian Canada High Point Horse of the Year 2017

  • Horses must be Canadian owned and registered to accumulate points
  • Owners and Riders must be Equestrian Canada Sport Licence holders in
    good standing
  • Horses must be entered in their National Breed Association awards
    program where applicable
  • Points will be accumulated according to National Breed Association point
  • Only the top five USEF/EC sanctioned events to be counted, with a
    minimum requirement of two Equestrian Canada sanctioned events
  • Horses must have won at least one Championship
  • The following information is required when applying for this award:
    Competition Name, Date and Type (National, Regional, Local), Class
    Names, Horse Placing, Number of Entries in each class
  • Deadline for application is February 24, 2018
  • Each breed representative on the Breed Sport Canada Committee will
    submit the name of their award winner to the Committee and Kristy
    House at Equestrian Canada by February 24, 2018

For Purebred Arabian or Partbred Arabian Horses:

  • There are two (2) separate awards for Arabians – Purebred Arabian High
    Point and Partbred Arabian High Point
  • Owners must send their application to one of the Arabian Representatives:
